MANILA, Philippines – Filipino doctors are needed in Saudi Arabia.
Applicants must be licensed doctors with a minimum of two years’ related experience, according to the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA).
“The Kingdom’s Ministry of Health is in urgent need of qualified applicants for 200 medical specialists and consultants who will be assigned in different hospitals throughout the region,” the POEA said.
Applicants qualifying for resident doctor and consultant positions shall receive a minimum of SR4,000 (about $1,066), while specialists will get a monthly pay of SR8,050 (about $2,150) among other benefits.
The Saudi government is also providing paid annual vacation and even free tickets for the family.
Qualified applicants may register online at www.poea.gov.ph or www.eregister.poea.gov.ph and personally submit the required documents.
POEA warning
The POEA has cautioned overseas jobseekers against visa centers and immigration consultancy firms pretending to give advice on how to obtain foreign visas and offering overseas employment.
Immigration consultancy firms and visa centers offering work abroad are often engaged in illegal recruitment, the POEA said.
