Maid Charged with Mixing Urine in Food of Employer’s Family

SHARJAH: A housemaid has been accused of mixing her urine with the drinks and food she prepared for her employer’s family in Sharjah, local media reports said.

The maid denied the charges filed by her employer, who said she saw the maid with a bottle filled with a “suspicious liquid,” reported Emirates 24/7.

The woman reportedly told court that the maid told her the liquid was juice but admitted it was urine when she was ordered to drink some of it.

“The maid said she uses the bottle to pass urine because she did not want to go to the toilet at night,” Arabic language daily Al Bayan said.

“The woman insisted that the maid was adding her urine to food and drinks given to the family… she said that the maid believes that she can control others by mixing her urine with drinks and food given to them.”
