Germany, Japan in Need of Nurses, Caregivers

The Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) has announced job openings in Germany and Japan for nurses and caregivers, a report on Balitanghali said Tuesday.
The report said the Philippines and the Federal Government of Germany’s “Triple Win Project” opened slots for 70 ICU nurses in the European country.
Applicants must have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree and a valid Philippine Nursing license, the report added. Successful applicants will receive a monthly salary of 2,000 euros or P119,000.
Meanwhile, Japan sent out a call for 48 nurses and 500 caregivers.
Interested applicants in both job openings may register at the POEA website.
The Triple Win Project between the Philippines and Germany aims to address the latter’s shortage of nurses by hiring professionals from the Philippines, Serbia, Bosnia, and Herzegovina.
