RIYADH: The Ministry of Health (MoH) has launched its phone-in service to answer people’s inquiries regarding health problems during Ramadan. “The program.“Hello Ramadan-Your Health in Ramadan” began in the first week of the holy month. An MoH official said that the program would help Muslims in the Kingdom regarding medical problems they might face during Ramadan. The service is available on a toll free number, 8002494444. It will be operational in Arabic and is open to the public during office hours on week days.

“We have arranged a panel of specialist doctors in various fields to answer live questions on all week days during the month,” the official said, adding that the physicians would also interact with the public through social networking sites such as Twitter and Facebook.

The official said the annual program during Ramadan had been a big hit and he hoped that this year’s service would also attract a number of Muslims who want to use the ministry’s services.
