RITM Offers Free HIV Testing, Consultation until June 2016

MANILA, Philippines — The Research Institute of Tropical Medicine (RITM), through its AIDS Research Group, has once again established a call center to enable individuals to have a “Free HIV Testing Consultation” via phone calls.

This activity will run from this month of May until June 2016. The consultation will be confidential, RITM said.

The program is an offshoot of last year’s experimental HIV Testing Communication Line opened in line with the celebration of National HIV Testing Month.

The “Free HIV Testing Consultation” 24/7 hotline numbers can be accessed through Globe and Smart numbers posted in RITM’s Facebook.

The RITM, located in Alabang, Muntinlupa City, is tasked by the Department of Health (DOH) and the Philippine government to supervise, plan, and successfully implement research programs to prevent and to control prevailing infectious and tropical diseases in the Philippines.
