Maid Commits Suicide at Saudi Airport
RIYADH: To the horror of hundreds of passengers, a housemaid committed a suicide by hanging herself at Jeddah international airport in Saudi Arabia, media reports said.
Police rushed to a lounge inside one of the region’s largest airports after receiving calls that a woman was hanging in the room, reported Emirates 24/7.
Ajel newspaper quoted a police spokesman as saying the maid, in her 50s, committed a suicide by tying a piece of her clothes round her neck.
The local police are investigating the case, said the reports.
