How to Start a Business While Overseas
When looking for opportunities to grow money or invest, overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) can only often turn to online sources to help them with their endeavors, especially about setting up a business in the Philippines.
But with the myriad of information available on the Internet, reliability is a popular issue that deters most Filipinos abroad from going into entrepreneurship.
With this, the Commission on Filipinos Overseas (CFO) made a one-stop portal to help workers abroad in equipping themselves with proper information about making a sustainable source of income in the country.
Established by the CFO in 2013, the “BaLinkBayan” (balinkbayan.gov.ph) online portal offers education for OFWs about the important concepts in business such as investment, philanthropy, entrepreneurship, and volunteerism.
