20,000 manggagawang Pinoy, kailangan sa Taiwan; 600 nurse, kailangan sa Germany
Inihayag ni Migrant Workers Secretary Susan Ople na plano ng Taiwan na kumuha ng 20,000 manggagawang Filipino bago matapos ang taon.
Pero bukod sa Taiwan, kailangan din umano ng Germany at Singapore ang mga Pinoy professionals sa larangan ng information technology (IT) at healthcare.
“The good news is that Facebook Singapore is actually hiring Filipino workers. For the first time, Facebook has requested for accreditation as an employer which speaks a lot about the excellence of our Filipino IT professionals and Grab Singapore, another multi-national brand is also keen on hiring from us,” sabi ni Ople sa ulat ni Lei Alviz sa GMA News “24 Oras” nitong Lunes.
Ayon pa sa kalihim, nagpahayag ang Singapore Ministry of Health (MOH) tungkol sa plano ng kanilang pamahalaan na kumuha pa ng mga healthcare worker.
“The MOH has reached out to us and has expressed their desire to explore ways of recruting or hiring more of our healthcare for employment in Singapore. Through a possibly, hindi pa kasi sarado yung talks and yung pipirmahan namin na document but possibly through a government-to-government arrangement,” pahayag ni Ople.
Nasa 600 nurses naman daw ang kailangan ng Germany para sa kanilang mga ospital at elderly care centers.
