136 Cebu City Jail Inmates Have HIV, Says BJMP
One hundred and thirty-six inmates of the Cebu City Jail have HIV (human immunodeficiency virus), a report on “24 Oras” said on Tuesday.
According to the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), which provided the figures for the report, inmates with HIV have not been kept separate from the others.
The bureau is also monitoring tuberculosis cases and psychiatric disorders among the inmates.
