10 Most in Demand Jobs for Overseas Filipinos

MANILA – Engineering jobs are the most in demand specializations among overseas Filipino workers, jobs website WorkAbroad.ph said Wednesday.

In the site’s 2016 Overseas Salary Report, 30,972 engineering-related jobs were posted from January to September 2016.

Engineering jobs contributed 26 percent of total OFW job postings in the period, WorkAbroad.ph said.

General work for housekeepers, drivers, and messengers is the second most in demand specialization, with 22,367 jobs posted, followed by hospitality-related with 13,681 job postings.

These three job specializations were also the most in demand in WorkAbroad.ph’s 2015 report.
